Rennard & Fargo's entire modus operandi is to take video game soundtrack loops and turn them into club beasts tailored for peak-time efficiency. It is particularly apparent in this track based on the title screen music of the 1995 classic Alien Soldier, a magnificent game by one of the best developers in the business (Treasure) which features the work of in-house composer Norio Hanzawa.

Hanzawa's soundtracks for the company are excellent, tailor-made for the often overwhelming arcade action the games throw at you, and they greatly enhance the experience. The Alien Soldier soundtrack, much as the game, is non-stop frantic noisy madness of the highest caliber, and this reshape from the Atlanta duo can be seen as a tribute to both the work of Treasure and Norio Hanzawa.

This is an unapologetic dj-tool, and meant to be used as such.
